Nest of Hope 2025: A Grand Success!

On October 11th, 2025, the fourth edition of “Nest of Hope” brightened the futures of 150 girls and boys from Cali, Colombia. This signature event brought a day filled with joy, connection, and life-changing opportunities for children through sport.

A Record-Breaking Edition

Nest of Hope 2025 saw an expanded mission, reaching 150 children—up from 110 last year—thanks to the tireless work of organizers, donors, and partner businesses. For the first time, tennis was included alongside soccer, broadening the event’s impact and offering new pathways for children’s athletic growth. Each kit distributed contained a jersey, water bottle, and either soccer cleats or a tennis racquet, generously donated by supporters. Ten teams also received balls and essential equipment, ensuring that young athletes have the tools to thrive both on and off the field.

Expert Guidance and Lasting Impact

The Club del Departamento—Sports Club was abuzz as Javier Vásquez Díaz, an expert in comprehensive sport development, led a special training session for both coaches and players. This holistic approach ensured not just fun, but true growth and learning, nurturing the next generation of athletes. The event is inspired by the image of an eagle, symbolizing hope and the transport of donations from the U.S. to Colombia, creating “nests” of opportunity for Colombian children.

Social Change through Sport

The collective effort of donors, supporters, and the following partners—Suseyi Pro Moving Company, Pastas La Muñeca, Panaderías Pasopan, Recamier, and Distribuidora Guival—made the 2025 edition possible, creating ripples of social impact in the community. Alejandro Henao, Founder and President of Fundación Good Play America, highlighted the joy and meaning of witnessing children grow, learn, and dream through sport.
