Official Rules for Good Play America Opportunity Drawing

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

This Opportunity Drawing is designed to support Good Play America’s mission of expanding access to youth sports programs (and partner organizations) while giving eligible participants the opportunity to enter a chance-based drawing.

Please read these Official Rules carefully before entering.

1. Sponsor

The 2026 World Cup Opportunity Drawing (the "Drawing") is sponsored and administered by Good Play America Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization .

2. Eligibility

The Drawing is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Good Play America Foundation (GPA) and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate.

3. How to Enter

There are four (4) ways to receive enter into the Drawing:

  • The Global Sustainer: A $20+ committed as a recurring monthly donation.

  • The Supporter: A one-time $60+ suggested donation.

  • The Eagle Sabor Ticket: A $150 ticket to the Salsa & Mojitos event on May 16, which includes event entry, salsa lesson & show, open bar, curated Colombian tastings, GPA regalia (hats or surprise) + A kid getting cleats!

  • Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without making a donation, hand-print your full name, address, city, state, zip code, day and evening top telephone numbers, email address and a statement that says: “I would like to enter the Good Play America Opportunity Drawing.” on a 3"x5" card and mail it in a sealed envelope to: Good Play America Foundation, PO Box #10262 Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person.

4. The Prize & Ticket Transfer

The prize consists of two (2) Category 1 tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Playoff Match currently scheduled for July 1, 2026, at Lumen Stadium/Seattle.

  • Digital Transfer: In accordance with FIFA’s ticketing policies, tickets will be delivered via digital transfer only.

  • Requirements: To receive the prize, the winner must have a valid email address and download the official FIFA Ticketing App (or the designated match-host platform) on a compatible smartphone.

  • Release: Good Play America Foundation is responsible only for the initiation of the ticket transfer via the official FIFA website/app. Once the transfer is initiated to the email address provided by the winner, the prize is considered delivered.

  • Winner Expenses: Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, travel costs, or expenses not specifically included in the prize description. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation to the stadium, parking, lodging, meals, and any personal expenses.

  • Restrictions: The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted.

5. Drawing Dates & Selection

  • The Accelerator Goal: If the total fundraising goal of $24,000 is met by May 15, 2026 11:59PM no more entries will be accepted and the winner will be selected via a random drawing held live at the Salsa & Mojitos event on May 16, 2026.

  • Standard Close: If the goal is not met by May 15, 2026 entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM PST on June 18, 2026. The drawing will then occur on June 19, 2026.

  • The winner will be notified via email or telephone within 48 hours of the drawing.

  • Mailed free entries must be received by May 15, 2025 (if the total fundraising goal of $24,000 is met) or by June 18, 2026.

6. Partner Revenue Sharing

GPA has entered into agreements with Bainbridge Schools Foundation, Bainbridge Island FC, Helpline House, and Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center. 25% of gross proceeds from donations specifically designated to these partners via the entry form dropdown menu will be remitted to the respective organizations. The selection of a partner does not affect the entrant’s chances of winning.

7. Release of Liability & Indemnification

By entering, participants release Good Play America Foundation, Bainbridge Schools Foundation, Bainbridge Island FC, Helpline House, and Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center from any liability, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Drawing or the acceptance/use of the prize. GPA is responsible only for the delivery of the tickets as described.

8. Entry Limits

Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person, email address, household, or mailing address may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s discretion.

Automated, incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

9. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the entry period. A donation, purchase, or event ticket purchase will not improve an entrant's odds of winning.

10. Winner Selection

Winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Drawing Period. The drawing will be conducted by Good Play America Foundation or its designated representative.

11. Winner Notification

Winner will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact information provided at the time of entry.

  • Response Deadline: Winner is required to respond and confirm acceptance of the prize within forty-eight (48) hours (2 days) of the initial notification.

  • Forfeiture: If a winner does not respond within the required time period, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot be successfully contacted after reasonable attempts, Good Play America Foundation reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner through another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

  • Verification: Potential winners may be required to show valid ID to prove they meet the age and residency requirements before the prize is officially awarded.

12. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winner grant Good Play America Foundation and its authorized Community Partners (BSF, BIFC, Helpline House, and KIAC) permission to use their name, likeness, city, state, and any submitted content (such as photos or videos of the winner) for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes related to the Opportunity Drawing in any media, worldwide, without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

13. General Conditions

Good Play America Foundation reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Opportunity Drawing if fraud, technical failures, legal restrictions, administrative issues, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the integrity or proper operation of the drawing.

Good Play America Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or attempts to undermine the fairness of the drawing. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Drawing may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, GPA reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Release of Liability & Indemnification

By participating in the Opportunity Drawing, all entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Good Play America Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents, as well as its community partners—Bainbridge Schools Foundation, Bainbridge Island FC, Helpline House, and Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center—from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses of any kind arising from:

  • Participation in the Opportunity Drawing or the entry process;

  • Technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any website, platform (such as Zeffy or Squarespace), or network;

  • The acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related to attending the 2026 World Cup match).

Good Play America Foundation is responsible only for the digital delivery of the tickets as described in Section 4. Under no circumstances shall the Sponsor or Partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. Privacy

Information collected from participants will be used primarily to administer the Opportunity Drawing and notify potential winners. By participating, entrants agree that Good Play America Foundation (GPA) may share relevant information with the designated Community Partner (BSF, BIFC, Helpline House, or KIAC) for the purpose of donor acknowledgement.

GPA may also use participant information to share organization updates where the participant has opted in. Good Play America Foundation will not sell entrant information to any third parties.

16. Compliance & Legal Disclosure

This Opportunity Drawing is intended to comply with all applicable Washington State regulations regarding promotional contests of chance.

  • Contest Structure: In accordance with the Washington State Gambling Commission, this drawing includes a free alternative method of entry (AMOE) and clearly provides public access to all rules regarding eligibility, prize details, odds, winner selection, and termination dates.

  • Not a Raffle: This promotion is specifically designed as a promotional contest of chance and is not intended to be operated as a raffle. Washington State separately regulates raffles conducted by charitable and nonprofit organizations, and this drawing has been structured to maintain compliance with sweepstakes laws by removing the "consideration" (payment) requirement through the free entry method.

  • Governing Law: This Drawing is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and all entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the courts located on Bainbridge Island or Kitsap County, WA, for the resolution of all disputes.
